Our Story

Founded in the fall of 1977 and incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1978, the Salem Adult Citizens (SAC) has been serving older adults for nearly five decades. For thirty-four consecutive years, SAC operated out of Salem Baptist Church in Jenkintown, PA. Now located in Abington, PA, SAC remains a vital resource for seniors in the area, offering a diverse range of programs and services designed to enhance their quality of life.
